Synopsis

Lois Lattimore won the World Chess Championship at the age of 15, three months before entering M.I.T. to earn her degree in physics and later completed her doctorate in quantum and partical physics at the University of Capetown.

In between, she kept playing chess and defending her title ... a title she has yet to lose.

Until one day meeting a old man in a park who asked her if she’d join him for a game. Having in her mind she would take it easy on the old gentlemen, she sat down with him for a frendly game, and an hour later was happy it was not for the title - because she’d have lost it.

After that she met and played against him several times a week, unable to ever defeat him.

Eventually he asked her if she wanted to know why she couldn’t beat him at the game in which she was, at least to the world at large, an unbeatable champion, he told her something about her life and loves that would change EVERYTHING!
